The First Impression
When we visited one of the prestigious showrooms of the South Haven Jeep dealer, we witnessed how the 2020 Jeep Renegade maintained its trademark style with the signature Jeep logo embossed on the front grille. The exterior style speaks of the off-road flair the vehicle has accomplished as a compact crossover SUV. Its overall impression at the first glance itself will breathe an air of confidence that is achieved from the level of practical capability, comfort, and safety it provides.
The 2020 Jeep Renegade now wears a complete look with an upright grille sitting at the front, holding the brand name, the body continues with its boxy shape though the fenders now flare with a new style. Jeep has intelligently used someplastic giving them a rugged-looking accent, especially to be observed on the Trailhawk trim model.
2020 Lineup Special
After its visual refreshment done last year, the 2020 Renegade from Jeep has now gone ahead with few betterment done to each its trim levels that still continues to be called as the Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk, and Limited Renegades. Engine Options
Jeep has set a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine as the standard for the 2020 Renegade that can make a moderate horsepower of 180, but the engine is preferred for its excellent power delivery after mating to 9-speed automatic transmission. There is also a 1.3-liter turbo-4 engine available as option for those needs some more motivation, and for them again, the option for driving with all-four-wheels is offered as well.
The most capable trim Trailhawk that is known for its off road driving skills are now supported with a higher suspension and a lower range of gearbox, while driver assistance features like hill descent control, and front-to-rear torque split ratio of 50:50 makes it the most preferable one.
Active Safety Features
Safety features in the 2020 Jeep Renegade stays at par with its rivals since features like automatic emergency braking is now available on all the trims of the 2020 model, except the Trailhawk, but it would have pushed the 2020 Renegade ahead of its rivals in feature count, if these features were offered as standard.
